Remote Team Meetings Made Simple
As a business owner just like Charlie Eissa, you probably have a lot on your plate. You are likely juggling many tasks and trying to make sure that everything is getting done. One of the most important things for you to do in order to stay successful is to keep your team happy. It’s not easy doing this when everyone works remotely, but it can be done! If you want your team members to work efficiently online while also feeling like they are part of the company, then read through these steps so that you can organize an online meeting!
Step One: Find good software. You will need a piece of online meeting software that works for your team, whether it is Skype, Zoom or Google Hangouts. If you want to have unlimited members in the video chat (or if all of them are not on one platform), then this might be difficult because they will likely ask questions about how to join an app and which one has the most features. In this case, we recommend using either UberConference or GoToMeeting Planner- they both work well with up to 25 participants so everyone can participate!
Step Two: Select a time slot for your meeting. Decide what day and what time would work best based on who is available at that moment. It’s really good to keep the schedule online so everyone can access them..
Step Three: Create a meeting agenda with the staff’s input beforehand. Make sure to include topics such as what needs to be discussed or current updates on projects, etc. If you are not able to see everyone in person, then it is important that all of these details will still be available for discussion. The best way to do this is by using software like Google Docs and letting one member take charge of updating the spreadsheet when there are new items added during your meetings.
